Mason's eyes are temporarily swollen practically shut, but he's still eagerly awaiting the last day of school! I asked him what he was not going to miss about second grade and he said Math! His class party was yesterday (where Mitch helped 25 second graders tie-dye shirts) and tomorrow is the last day. 
Miles finished preschool last Friday with a big Field Day at the park, then we headed west for a birthday weekend of camping. Miles turned 6 at Lake Martin in the top bunk of our tiny cabin! When we got home Sunday, Miles got into his own bed and said I feel bigger in my bed now that I'm six! He's such a fun and creative boy!
