He Was A Skater Boy

Mason is a fearful child at times. He was afraid of pumpkins a few years ago and after this latest trip to Disney World, he's afraid of most roller coasters. He doesn't like waterslides. But one thing he is not afraid of: the skate park. It is his passion (for now). We've been twice now and he has shown no fear. He loves it - he gets right in there with the older boys (and grown-men) and keeps up the pace. It's not the passion of my life, but it's fun to watch him enjoy something so much.

And typical for Georgia in March, we've had some crazy weather. We were sweating coming home from Disney World, then the very next day, it snowed. Then a few days later, Mason had on his new birthday swimsuit running through the sprinkler. Here's some recent shots:

He is a little skater boy! That kid has skillz. He's going to get the hang of the new skate board in no time...we'll have to have a skate park play date and let him show off some more moves.
